Global Indemnity Group Subsidiary Acquires AI-Enabled Insurance Marketplace Sayata

Penn-America Underwriters (PAU), a subsidiary of publicly listed Global Indemnity Group, LLC (GBLI), has finalized its acquisition of Sayata, an AI-enabled digital distribution marketplace and agency operations provider for commercial insurance.

This acquisition supports GBLI’s recent strategic reorganization of its PAU business, which focuses on agency and insurance services. The integration of Sayata is expected to accelerate PAU’s roadmap by expanding its distribution capabilities, product portfolio, and technology offerings.

Praveen K. Reddy, President and CEO of PAU, stated that the acquisition directly supports the company’s strategy to provide faster, smarter distribution solutions for specialty insurance and new products. He expressed enthusiasm for welcoming the Sayata team and investing in the business’s growth.

Saul Fox, Chairman of GBLI, commented on the alignment of Sayata’s technology and industry partnerships with GBLI’s “Project Manifest” vision. He indicated that the collaboration would enhance digital capabilities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive accelerated growth.

Asaf Lifshitz, co-founder and CEO of Sayata, highlighted the company’s long-standing focus on customer and partner experience. He views the partnership as an opportunity to broaden Sayata’s distribution reach and product portfolio while continuing to deliver economic benefits for its customers.

Sayata’s platform, since its launch, has assisted over ten thousand insurance professionals across the U.

S. and placed tens of thousands of policies. It has partnered with carriers to offer commercial insurance products, using advanced data analytics and machine learning to facilitate the efficient distribution of commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
