Shift4 Partners with Detroit Lions to Enhance Gameday Commerce Experience at Ford Field

Shift4, a provider of integrated payments and commerce technology, has partnered with the Detroit Lions to manage ticketing, food and beverage concessions, and retail merchandise transactions at Ford Field.

Shift4 will deploy its proprietary SkyTab Venue point-of-sale system for in-venue transactions and leverage existing integrations with other industry leaders for ticketing and retail operations. The collaboration aims to streamline operations and enhance the fan experience for the NFL team.

Shift4’s integrated commerce solutions are utilized by major professional sports leagues, colleges, and various entertainment venues to facilitate shopping, ordering, and payment processes. The Detroit Lions, a professional American football team established in 1934 and based in Detroit, Michigan, play their home games at Ford Field. The team recently achieved a franchise-high 15-2 record during the 2024 season, securing a back-to-back NFC North title and reaching the Divisional round of the NFL postseason.
