MSCI Inc. and PNC Bank have formed a strategic collaboration to provide financial advisors at PNC with access to MSCI Wealth Manager, a digital platform designed for analytics, portfolio management, and institutional-grade research. This platform aims to assist advisors in creating personalized experiences for their clients.

Asset and wealth managers are increasingly required to develop customized portfolios that align with their clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and values, ranging from high-net-worth individuals to sophisticated institutional investors. MSCI Wealth Manager was developed to support advisors in delivering tailored financial advice to a broader client base by integrating portfolio construction, model management, analytics, and client proposal generation into a single solution.

The platform connects advisors and investment teams through a unified ecosystem built on MSCI’s multi-asset class (MAC) risk model. This design allows for the quick identification of risks in client portfolios by pinpointing outlier assets based on the client’s risk appetite. Furthermore, advisors can compare, align, and personalize client portfolios around recommended asset allocations directly on the MSCI Wealth Manager platform.

Through MSCI Wealth Manager, advisors can differentiate client experiences by offering transparent, multi-asset analytics, risk decomposition tools, and outcome-based investment insights tailored to individual investor goals. They can also leverage MSCI’s expertise in index construction, sustainability, private asset coverage, and factor modeling to explore new opportunities. Additionally, advisors can analyze portfolio data from current and prospective clients’ investment statements, which can be uploaded directly to the platform.

Alex Kokolis, Global Head of Wealth at MSCI, stated that MSCI Wealth is supporting PNC in its efforts to enhance personalized wealth experiences. He noted that this collaboration reflects an industry trend where advisors are seeking improved methods to navigate market complexities and address evolving client needs. Kokolis added that MSCI Wealth Manager enables firms like PNC to equip their advisors with the insights, data, and technology necessary to scale advice delivery and support clients with greater clarity and confidence.
