Share It:

Seismic, a global leader in AI-powered enablement, has achieved ISO 42001 certification, establishing its adherence to the first international standard for managing artificial intelligence responsibly across enterprises.

This certification reinforces Seismic’s dedication to trust, transparency, and governance as it expands AI innovation across its platform and customer ecosystem. This milestone is intended to strengthen Seismic’s position as a partner to organizations in highly regulated industries, including financial services, life sciences, and insurance, which require strict governance over data and AI management.

Doug Winter, co-founder and CEO of Seismic, stated, “As more companies integrate AI into their go-to-market strategies, confidence and clarity around its use become critical. This certification reflects the intentional progress we’ve made as an AI-first company. At Seismic, we’re committed to responsible innovation, ensuring every AI capability we deliver protects customer data, operates within enterprise safeguards, and earns the trust that thousands of organizations place in Seismic every day.”

Published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ISO 42001 sets a global benchmark for AI governance, oversight, and risk management. Seismic is among the first technology providers supporting revenue and go-to-market (GTM) teams to attain ISO 42001. The certification encompasses the entire Seismic Enablement Cloud™, including Aura AI, which is Seismic’s AI engine powering all AI features across the platform.

Seismic’s AI capabilities are designed to be trustworthy and transparent, respecting existing user permissions, content access rules, and administrative controls, with features clearly disclosed for informed user interactions. Its AI systems are built and managed in alignment with global best practices across people, process, and technology. The systems are integrated and scalable, operating within a secure, compliant ecosystem whether used directly in Seismic or through integration partners such as Microsoft, Slack, or Salesforce. Furthermore, Seismic’s AI is designed to protect customer data by not sharing content with public models and ensuring no customer data is stored or retained by third-party large language model (LLM) providers.

This new certification joins Seismic’s existing portfolio of enterprise-grade credentials, which include SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701, reflecting its ongoing commitment to responsible innovation.
