Cyware, a provider of operational threat intelligence, and Carahsoft Technology Corp., a government IT solutions provider, have announced a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing cybersecurity defenses for State, Local, Tribal and Territorial (SLTT) agencies in the United States.
Under the terms of the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as Cyware’s public sector distributor, making Cyware’s threat intelligence solutions available to SLTT agencies through Carahsoft’s network of reseller partners and various government contract vehicles. These include NASPO ValuePoint, The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), OMNIA Partners, E&I Cooperative Services Contract, and The Quilt contracts.
This collaboration addresses the increasing scale and complexity of cyberattacks targeting public infrastructure. SLTT agencies often face challenges in improving threat visibility, coordination, and response due to limited resources and fragmented systems. The partnership is designed to streamline access to advanced, AI-powered cybersecurity capabilities for these critical governmental entities, which play a foundational role in national cyber resilience.
Tom Stockmeyer, Managing Director of Government at Cyware, stated that SLTT agencies are frequently underserved regarding advanced defense capabilities despite being on the front lines of cyber threats. He noted that the partnership with Carahsoft will enable these agencies to rapidly access and implement Cyware’s AI-driven solutions, leading to better protection, faster response, and stronger community resilience.
Cyware’s platform unifies threat intelligence ingestion, sharing, and response. It integrates with key public sector resources, including the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)’s Automated Indicator Sharing (AIS) program, and various Information Sharing and Analysis Centers (ISACs) such as MS-ISAC and Health-ISAC. The platform facilitates real-time collaboration and automation across cyber operations, enabling SLTT organizations to respond to threats with greater speed and precision.
Shashi Nair, Head of Channel at Cyware, commented that the partnership represents a significant step toward equipping SLTT agencies with the necessary tools for cyber defense. Nair highlighted that combining Carahsoft’s procurement channels with Cyware’s solutions simplifies the adoption and operationalization of threat intelligence and response capabilities, contributing to more resilient cybersecurity for public sector partners.
Cyware’s solutions are designed to meet the specific requirements of public sector teams, offering capabilities such as ACS Markings and flexible deployment options (cloud or on-premise). The solutions are scalable for agencies of all sizes and align with key compliance initiatives. Cyware is currently “StateRAMP In Process” and supports SLTT teams utilizing funding vehicles like the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP).
Michael Shrader, Vice President of Intelligence and Innovative Solutions at Carahsoft, noted that Cyware’s solutions constitute a valuable addition to Carahsoft’s cybersecurity portfolio for the public sector. He affirmed Carahsoft’s commitment to working with its resellers to assist SLTT customers in modernizing their cyber defenses with AI-powered tools that enhance intelligence sharing, collaboration, and incident response.
Cyware’s solutions are available through Carahsoft’s NASPO ValuePoint Master Agreement #AR2472, TIPS Contract #220105, OMNIA Partners Contract #R191902, E&I Contract #EI00063~2021MA, and The Quilt Master Service Agreement Number MSA05012019-F.
