Northern Trust has announced an agreement with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) to utilize ICE ETF Hub as the order-taking platform for its new U.
S. exchange-traded funds (ETF) servicing capability. This integration marks a key milestone in Northern Trust’s strategic entry into the U.
S. institutional investor ETF servicing market.
Institutional investor demand for ETFs continues to grow, driven by strong inflows and rapid innovation across both passive and active strategies. Northern Trust is implementing the necessary operational and technology components to support its U.
S. ETF servicing operations.
ICE ETF Hub provides a secure, scalable technology infrastructure designed to streamline ETF primary market workflows. The platform connects directly with authorized participants, market makers, distributors, and other essential participants in the ETF ecosystem. It will seamlessly integrate with Northern Trust’s fully automated, proprietary ETF servicing application.
