Wagmo, a New York City-based pet healthcare benefits platform, and Fi, a pet technology company, have announced a partnership to provide exclusive GPS tracking and health monitoring benefits to Wagmo plan members.
Through this collaboration, Wagmo members will gain access to Fi’s GPS tracking technology for dogs and cats. The offering includes a free Fi Series 3+ collar or a Fi Mini tracker, bundled with six months of service. Fi was founded in 2017 by Jonathan Bensamoun and Loren Kirkby, launching its first GPS-enabled tracking collar in 2019.
Fi’s devices are designed to provide pet owners with real-time GPS tracking capabilities, escape alerts, and monitoring of health and activity. The Fi Series 3+ collar offers insights into a dog’s location and behavior, while the Fi Mini attaches to any collar and is suited for smaller dogs and cats, expanding access to pets previously underserved by larger trackers. Both devices enable location tracking across the U.
S. and deliver instant escape notifications.
Christie Horvath, Founder and CEO of Wagmo, stated, “We have developed Wagmo as a connected platform aiming to consolidate resources for pet care. This partnership with Fi provides our members with access to tracking and health monitoring at an accessible price point.”
Jonathan Bensamoun, co-founder and CEO of Fi, commented, “Collaborating with Wagmo allows us to extend Fi’s GPS tracking and health monitoring services to more families through their existing benefits programs. Together, we are offering pet owners a comprehensive view of their pet’s health, encompassing real-time location and long-term wellness trends.”
This partnership expands Wagmo’s existing offerings, which include reimbursement for routine pet care, 24/7 telehealth support, pet insurance coverage, and discounts with brands such as BarkBox and PetMeds. Wagmo, founded in 2017, emphasizes holistic pet health. Members can activate their exclusive Fi device and offer through the Wagmo member portal.
