401GO Introduces GoConnect Program to Link 401(k) Plan Sponsors with Financial Advisors

401GO, a technology-driven provider of 401(k) retirement plans, has launched GoConnect, a new program designed to connect 401(k) plan sponsors with financial advisors. The initiative aims to enhance retirement plan effectiveness and employee benefits.

While financial advisors constitute 401GO’s primary distribution channel, the company also supports businesses in establishing plans independently. Stan Smith, Chief Growth Officer at 401GO, who is leading the GoConnect program, highlighted the strategic position of 401GO within the fintech ecosystem to facilitate successful pairings between plan sponsors and advisors.

According to Smith, offering employees access to a financial advisor significantly boosts 401(k) contribution and participation rates. This benefit also contributes to improved employee recruitment and retention, creating advantages for all parties involved in these partnerships. Smith referenced a Northwestern Mutual study, which indicated that 75% of Americans working with an advisor anticipate being ready for retirement, compared to only 45% of those without an advisor.

GoConnect is part of a broader, multi-faceted practice management strategy being introduced by 401GO. This initiative seeks to deliver value beyond its core 401(k) recordkeeping services, with future plans including benchmarking, lead generation, and marketing consulting support.

401GO is a fintech company focused on modernizing retirement savings. It combines advanced technology with personalized human support, offering a hybrid model that provides users with state-of-the-art digital tools alongside guidance from retirement experts.
